I don’t even know where to start with this ridiculously beautiful Mykonos elopement. Every single moment we snapped up was so pretty this gallery doesn’t even look real to us. The entire day played out like a dream, and for this lucky duo, that dream was their beautiful reality. But let’s go back to the very beginning of this story…
While Sharon was pregnant with Jona, we had an app that woke us up every week with the news about baby’s development. It was so fun to watch and imagine how your baby grows, seeing only the outside of a shell where he grew for the first nine months of his heart beating. I remember how they would compare baby’s size with different kind of fruit every week, simply for better understanding.
Following this funny chart, at the time of our first time being at Mykonos, Jona was the size of a banana. There was no crying, baby food, car seat or breastfeeding at that time. Just a big round belly with our most valuable treasure. And we have promised to this banana-sized life that we’ll take him back to enjoy winds of Mykonos once again.
Just over a year later, with this intimate Mykonos elopement ahead of us, we found ourselves in some old noisy plane that came as a replacement for the one that should have been there. Flying to this dream island, in a wolf pack of three.
Four days, open roof and narrow roads of this marvelous island. We love beaches but that’s not why we were here. This piece of land in the middle of sea has so much more to offer. Places that humans haven’t put their hands on. Hilltops with views to spend an afternoon with. Wind pervaded with smells of salty sea… Silence pierced by words of two humans who decided to stand together on a rock and read from a peace of paper every single feel they collected since their first kiss.
This is a story about two people in love, captured by three people in love.
